Who operates Vermont Septic Service
Vermont Septic Service is operated by AIXIS LLC, a Vermont limited liability company. It routes non-emergency requests to independent contractors or licensed designers, who assess properties and agree directly with customers on the work.
Who is responsible for the work
The independent provider is responsible for its assessment, written estimate, licensing, insurance, contract and work. Confirm its identity, qualifications for the proposed scope and availability before authorizing a visit or project. Submitting a request does not book an appointment.
Prepare for the assessment
Keep the wastewater permit, well record, previous findings and service history together. Describe what changed, when it began and any access restrictions. Use the town directory to find the relevant local records and the property guidance to prepare questions for the provider.
The request and the contractor’s agreement are different
A slow drain, an alarm, a wet treatment area, loss of well pressure and a proposed building addition can require different kinds of assessment. Describe the observed problem in the request instead of choosing a replacement system before the property has been evaluated. The form asks for the service, town, timing and property type so the provider can understand what needs attention.
Before authorizing work, ask the responding business to identify who will visit, what the assessment includes and whether design, permitting or construction is a separate engagement. Keep the written scope, price and any exclusions from that business. A service request submitted here is an introduction; the independent provider’s estimate and your agreement establish the actual work, cost and schedule.
